Babette Wasserman

Classically trained in Jewellery Design at Central St Martins College of Art, Babette Wasserman has been creating collections of exquisite jewels and cufflinks under her own label for fourteen years. Winner of the UK Fashion Export Award 2007, Finalist as Brand of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2010 and featured in The Professional Jeweller Hot 100 book, which placed her in the ‘trendsetter’ category, Babette Wasserman is recognized by the fashion industry for progressive design and individual style. Her impressive global client list speaks volumes. Babette works from her studio in London’s Notting Hill, designing exquisite jewels set entirely in sterling silver and cufflinks fashioned out of silver and base metal platinum/rhodium plated. Babette's jewellery is contemporary and highly prized, her unique touch can clearly be gleaned throughout every collection. All of Babette's collections express a sense of luxury, stylish elegance and freshness – such as the Glitter Chameleon rings, encrusted with hundreds of hand-set Swarovski crystals, this is an overwhelmingly breathtaking piece. Babette’s designs fill a niche between fashion and precious jewellery and encapsulate total glamour. From start up in 1997, the brand now has a distribution of over 350 accounts worldwide in some of the most luxurious jewellery shops, boutiques and department stores from London to Tokyo, New York, Milan, Paris or Sydney. The popularity and grace of Babette’s work can be gleaned from the constant press coverage received worldwide, as seen in GQ, FHM, Grazia, Elle, and Sunday Times. Recently, her jewellery has adorned the manicured hands, wrists and necks of the rich and famous with celebrities such as Elle MacPherson, Sheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh (Girls Aloud pop group), Madonna, Elton John and David Furnish, Rufus Wainwright, Antonio Banderas, David Beckham and Jonathan Ross sporting some of our newest jewellery or cufflinks designs.
